Places to take the Corvette:
Tail of the Dragon – https://tailofthedragon.com/ - If you like challenging your driving skills it’s 318 curves in 11 miles in Eastern Tennessee bordering North Carolina. About an hour and a half South of Knoxville TN. We had the most fun you can have at 35 mph in 10-15 mph hairpin corners. Diving left and right into banked curves, one right after another. Option: You can drive it one direction then turn around and go back through again.
Devil’s Triangle - https://www.ridethesmokies.com/rides/cherohala-triangle/ - This drive will take you through the Oak Ridge mountains of Eastern Tennessee. About 30 minutes north of Knoxville TN. This drive is easier for the driver to enjoy the surrounding scenic views while driving the windy roads.
The Corvette Museum/Factory/Corvette race track – A trip to Bowling Green Kentucky. You will find the Corvette Museum a must see. Interesting displays of Corvette history and factory deliveries of new Corvettes awaiting new owners. During the right time of the year, you can schedule a factory tour. You will see about a mile and a half of the assembly line of new corvettes being built. Then you can make a trip over to the Corvette race track. If you want to challenge your diving skills you can drive one of their Corvettes around the track.
Route 66 - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._Route_66 - a historic US highway that stretched from Chicago, Illinois, to Santa Monica, California, covering a total of 2,448 miles.
